what we offer
Play Therapy
Play therapy sessions for children and young people with a Play Therapist.
Children make sense of and understand their world through play; play is a natural medium for a child to explore and make sense of difficult thoughts, experiences and feelings, at their own pace.
Listening Space
We provide a listening space for adults to express concerns, difficult thoughts/feelings and anxieties. Our listening space is accessible to parents/carers/adult children. This is not a counselling service, but we will put you in touch with counselling services if you feel you need this.
Systemic Approach
As a family: supporting individuals in a family to better understand each other, see differing perspectives and enhance emotional support among family members.
Individually: with young people, this work often takes the form of; life story work; the development of coping skills and problem-solving strategies.
We want all families to be able to access our services.
We are very lucky to have received funding which means our listening space for adults is free. Our funding also helps us provide free and subsidised places in play therapy and systemic work.
If you feel the service has been helpful to you, we ask those that can afford to, to make a donation to our Just Giving page so we can continue to provide this service.
